Chaney Foundation to Award
Beautification Grants in Charles County
Chaney Enterprises, through the Chaney Foundation,
is pleased to announce the 2008 Beautification
Grant Program.
The Chaney Foundation established the "Beautification
Grant" in 2003 to assist community organizations,
schools, nonprofit organizations establish aesthetic
and environmental improvement projects that will
benefit the many residents of Charles County.
There are a limited number of grants, which will
be awarded on a competitive basis. Applicants
are encouraged to submit projects which use native
plant species and can be incorporated into the
school curriculum.
Applicants must be a school, government, 501©3
Organization or a qualified organization that
is willing to receive funds to be used for the
project. All projects must be located in Charles
County.
Each grant awarded is worth up to $1,000.00.
All grants must be matched by the organization
which may include cash, material, services, labor
or a combination of resources.
Requirements of the project include the scope
of the project, total cost, the amount you are
requesting, and how you plan to match the requested
funds. A photograph of your improvement area is
also required.
