Chaney Enterprises Wins Coveted National Award
Waldorf, Maryland— Chaney Enterprises President,
Francis H. Chaney, II, was recently presented with
the National Aggregates Association Excellence
in Community Service Award. Chaney Enterprises
was the unanimous winner of this prestigious award
in light of their unique interest and exceptional
participation in community affairs. Chaney Enterprises
was presented this award at the National Aggregates
annual convention held in Las Vegas, Nevada on
March 24th.
The National Aggregates Association is the largest
international trade association in the world
representing companies engaged in the direct production
of sand,
gravel, crushed and broken stone. Member companies
produce in excess of 375 million tons of material
per year. The National Aggregates Association
has assumed a leading role in protecting and advancing
interests of the aggregate industry, developing
engineering and research programs to improve
the
use of the products of the industry, and working
with public and private organizations on the
development and the establishment of reasonable
standards for
after-treatment of mined areas.
