Chaney Enterprises Continues
Their Support of the Multiple Sclerosis Society
Waldorf, Maryland— MS Bike the Bay event
chairperson Julie Andrews-Walker joins volunteers
Bobby DePhillip, Carleen, DePhillip, Michelle Motture,
Lorrie Tippett, and Bill Childs, all employees
of Chaney Enterprises, in recently presenting a
significant donation to MS Southern Maryland Branch
Coordinator Robin Daugherty. This year's event
will be held on August 10th with a new start/finish
location at Herrington Harbor Marina & Resort,
Rose Haven, Maryland.
This cycling event is an important source of
income for the MS Society, as they depend upon
this revenue
to continue the quality services they provide
to individuals with multiple sclerosis, and to
eliminate
the disease by funding the best and brightest
researchers. It is hard work, dedication, and commitment
that
enabled the MS Society to raise $30,000.00 from
the Bike the Bay '95 project! This year's goal
is to raise $40,000 which will go toward helping
over 3,500 Marylanders living with Multiple Sclerosis.
Chaney Enterprises is committed to supporting
the communities in which their employees live and
work.
As a part of this commitment Chaney Enterprises
has been a major sponsor of the MS Society Bike
the Bay project for 6 years providing donations
and volunteers.
