Chaney Enterprises is Rejuvenating its Commitment to Their Customers in St. Mary’s County and Surrounding areas.

Chaney Enterprises has reinforced its commitment to its customers and employees to continue to grow, thrive, and prosper through a newly formed partnership with Southern Materials, Inc. in Great Mills, Maryland. Southern Materials, Inc. is engaged in the mining and processing of sand and gravel and re-sale of stone products in St. Mary’s County. Southern Materials is located in the heart of the St. Mary’s County market on Quatman Road (see attached map). This facility is within the city limits of Lexington Park and in just 2 ½ miles from the main gate of The Patuxent River Naval Air Station. Southern Materials is currently servicing customers in St. Mary’s County, Calvert County, Charles County, and Anne Arundel County.

The Chaney Enterprises and Southern Materials Partnership is one that will enhance their position in the industry, further increasing their lead as the largest Sand and Gravel Producer in Maryland, while also providing outstanding people, convenient service, quality products for current and prospective customers in the St. Mary’s County market. As of Monday, April 2, 2001 this entity has been known externally and internally as Chaney Enterprises Southern Materials. From that date until now, Chaney Enterprises has been successfully responsible for all aspects of Operations, Sales, G & A, and Marketing. Chaney Enterprises is proud that every employee of Southern Materials has elected to become a member of the Chaney Enterprises Team and welcome them as valued additions to our new partnership.

In light of the Chaney Enterprises Southern Materials Facility we will temporarily cease operations of our Loveville Facility, but this will not mark the end of the Loveville Facility. The Loveville Facility will re-open as business conditions dictate or when we have completed mining and processing operations at Southern Materials. It is forecasted that our Loveville Facility will become an extremely important aspect of Chaney Enterprises in the 21st Century.
