Chaney Foundation Award Non Profit Organizations for the 2006 2nd Quarter
How do local non profit organizations continue
supporting their cause to help make a difference
in our communities? By receiving a grant from
the Chaney Foundation!
The Chaney Foundation, the philanthropic arm
of Chaney Enterprises, awarded grant monies to
various non profit organizations in an effort
to stand true to their motto "Neighbors Serving
Neighbors."
Organizations that received grants included the
American Red Cross-Southern Maryland Chapter,
Happy Helpers for the Homeless-Annapolis Chapter,
Chesapeake Bay Foundation, Chillum Youth Project,
Community Support Systems, End Time Harvest Ministries,
Rob's Barbershop Foundation, St. Mary's Nursing
Center, Community Foundation of the Chesapeake,
Charles County Children's Aid Society, Meals on
Wheels of Central Maryland and Women's Club of
St. Mary's County.
Every quarter the Chaney Foundation Board members
award local non profit organizations grant money
whom focus their efforts in the following areas:
Children and Youth; Arts, Culture and History;
Education; Environment; Health Care and Health
Education; and Community Outreach.
Organizations that are interested in applying
for possible funding from the Chaney Foundation
are encouraged to apply online at www.fsrequests.com/chaneyfoundation

In addition to quarterly nonprofit community
donations, the Chaney Foundation offers an annual

Grant program in Charles County.
