Chaney Enterprises wins the NRMCA Fleet Graphics Award
The National Ready Mixed Concrete Association
(NRMCA) just released the names of the winners
of their Fleet Graphics Award. Local concrete
provider Chaney Enterprises won first place in
the largest category of 75 or more mixer trucks
honoring the best ready mixed concrete truck paint
and decal schemes. Award winners were determined
by voting at the 2007 NRMCA Fall Conference in
Phoenix and by industry consultants and equipment
representatives.
Chaney Enterprises truck design is unique in
that nonprofit and community decals are applied
to mixer trucks providing a free “rolling
billboard” to area and national organizations
Chaney Enterprises supports. Charities and organizations
Chaney Enterprises’ supports include the
American Cancer Society, United Way, Boys &
Girls Clubs, US armed services and many other
worthy organizations locally and nationally.
“Many times if the organization has a decal
on one of our mixer trucks and is hosting a community
event, Chaney Enterprises will arrange to take
the truck with that organization’s decal
to the event for display. Everyone at the event
appreciates the free promotion of their charity.
The more money and awareness the organization
can raise, the more they can help the community,”
related Steven Tripp, Marketing Manager of Chaney
Enterprises. “We are thrilled to receive
the award and hope that it sets a trend in the
industry.”
“We feel lucky to have the Community Foundation’s
logo on one of the Chaney Enterprises’ mixer
trucks,” explained Gretchen Heinze, Executive
Director of the Community Foundation of Charles
County. “Raising awareness for the Community
Foundation is key for future community involvement
and collaborations. With the Washington, D.C.
Metropolitan area as being one of the most congested
areas in the Nation, we know people are seeing
our logo out on the highways. We greatly appreciate
Chaney Enterprises’ efforts in supporting
organizations like the Community Foundation of
Charles County.”
